Muslin cotton, a textile that has been around for ages, is believed to have originated in Bangladesh. Aden and Anais uses the softest muslin to produce an amazing collection of swaddle blankets. Swaddling is said to protect from SIDS, comfort new babies by mimicking the womb, and allows for peaceful uninterrupted sleep by preventing reflex motion which may suddenly awake him or her. Purple monkeys, teal elephants, orange stars, or yellow giraffes are only some of the cute choices that are also adult aesthetic-friendly. The even softer bamboo collection made me exclaim, “It’s like butter”. Every package of Aden & Anais’ awesome muslin comes with swaddling instructions, making mastering the art a snap. Strong, washable, durable, and breathable are the qualities that make Aden & Anais a high quality product and a hot item.
Alas, if wrapping and tucking isn’t your thing, and you’re more concerned with style and function…take the quick route to swaddledom with Baby Bonkie! They’ve made 3am swaddling a breeze in 3 easy steps…1 – place baby in pocket, 2 -fold right side to velcro, 3 – fold left side to velcro….Voila, happy baby, happy parent. Baby Bonkies are available in a wide assortment of fabric styles and colors so you’re sure to find the perfect match for you.
Both options are must haves for new parents. It’s my belief that you can never have too many blankets and the same goes for Bonkies. Think of them as your Swiss Army Knife of baby survival tools. [nggallery id=85]

Since then, they’ve made minor improvements to the comfy molded chair that flips from infant “Hi”chair to a toddler “Lo”chair but the idea remains the same. The HiLo is suitable for children 6 months old to 6 years old so it really does grow with your family and the transformation is effortless. With a quick pull of aluminum tabs located on the sides of the frame and a gentle push to turn the seat over….topsy turvy has never been so orderly! As for safety, features include a removable 3-point harness system and crotch bar which is attached to the tray. AGE recently added a padded seat cushion that fits over the back of the seat and can be easily removed for clean up. The solid Beech wood frame is accessorized with wheels for easy placement around your home and the one-piece tray has an anti-splash lid to keep spills in one area…..hopefully not on your floor.[nggallery id=84]
Lotus Springs has impressed us with their super soft, sweet and simple baby apparel. Their recipe for success combines renewable materials with natural fibers to develop cozy and durable fabrics. The Lotus Springs collection is made of cotton, bamboo, silk, milk proteins, corn, wood, soy and cashmere. My favorite pieces are the luxurious bamboo terry hooded towel and infant skull cap. The softness is very addictive but don’t worry, when your sweetie outgrows layette…she can slip right into one of their silky tee/leggings sets or adorable ethereal dresses.

Not only is he going to look awesome, but his daily dude-ies can carry on without disruption. [singlepic id=321 w=600 h=800 float=]Kidsonroof, a dutch company, has mastered the art of recycling. Their Casa Cabana is made of recycled cardboard and is printed with a forest theme. You can find a blue kitty high up on a tree branch and even a pink squirrel sitting on the roof. My favorite is the red bunny on one of the seven windows. A door allows for the playmates to enter their home away from home for a little getaway. With a little imagination this recycled cardboard allows for hours of fun.
