Bows, Buttons, Pleats…

[singlepic id=286 w=800 h=600 float=]The sophisticated and refined beauty that is  3.1 Phillip Lim isn’t just reserved for those of us who are old enough to sip lattes.  This spring the Kid Collection offers his signature elegance for style conscious girls 3-9 years old. My personal favorite is this beautiful pleated goddess dress which is sure to bring out your inner Cleopatra.[nggallery id=71]

Warm Sugar Makes Sweet Memories

by ac[singlepic id=287 w=800 h=600 float=]Dolls are the thing I remember the most as a child. My fabric doll, Scarlett, was a gift from my father after returning from a trip. She fashioned a floral dress and felt hair. Scarlett was my daily companion for longer than I can shamelessly admit.

Introducing Warm Sugar, a unique collection of handmade dolls.  Posy dolls and Baby Nome dolls, created and designed by artist Shannon Jefferson, are made of vintage and re-purposed fabrics of different patterns and colors that compliment each other. The Miranda doll is beautifully accessorized with a pink cashmere cap and brown maryjanes. Every single beauty comes numbered and named, assuring the unique quality of your special friend. Each would make for the perfect keepsake baby shower gift or birthday present. Dolls are easy to clean with mild soap and water. Air dry or use the fluff cycle and they are good to go back out and play. But most importantly, these cute pieces of art are going to give your child years of memories and fun.

Macking It To Makie

by ac[singlepic id=281 w=800 h=600 float=]Lions and tigers and hippos? Oh my, Makie’s flocked animals set are the perfect travel companions for the playground. And sharing with new friends is not a problem with six wild friends per set.

When it comes to their threads there is nothing wild there. Colorful prints and classic designs create an oh so beautiful collection. The 100% cotton sun dresses have super soft elastic shoulder straps and a generous A-line cut to keep your little one comfortable while still looking baby chic. And boy, their solid and pin stripe bucket hats sure do make the cutest add-on to any darling outfit.[nggallery id=67]

Play and Learn with Kid O

by gg[singlepic id=279 w=800 h=600 float=]Every moment in a child’s life is an opportunity to learn and discover. Making sure that these moments are fun-filled, is the best way to ensure that learning flourishes and becomes and integral part to living. This is why we love Kid O! The Montessori educational philosophy is evident in Kid O products which are multifunctional and blend playtime with learning in a way that stimulates creativity by using thoughtful designs and colors that appeal to both parent and child alike. Say goodbye to rubber duck grunge in the bath! These beautifully designed floating ducks are made from ABS plastic, are easy to clean and stack together for no stress storage. My personal favorite is the 4-in-1 wood block puzzle which reveals vibrant jungle scenes with each rotation.  Another great choice is the depth perception theater . A 16-piece wooden set including a 2-sided backdrop guarantees that your little storyteller will enjoy directing scenarios for audiences of all sizes.
